Luis J. Zeballos
Dr. Luis J. Zeballos is an Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering at the School of Chemical Engineering in the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL) (Argentina). He received a Ph.D. Degree in Information Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Facultad Regional Santa Fe (UTN-FRSF) (Argentina) in 2007 and his Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de San Juan in 2001. Professor Zeballos joined as doctoral fellow at the Institute of Technological Development for the Chemical Industry (Argentina) in 2002. After getting his Ph.D from UTN, he became Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Technological Development for the Chemical Industry (2007–2009) and, subsequently, Postdoctoral fellow at the National Laboratory for Energy and Geology (LNEG) (Lisbon-Portugal) (2010-2011). His research contributions have been in the areas of scheduling and planning of batch plants, continuous processes and flexible manufacturing systems, as well as supply chain operational management, by means of mathematical programming models and constraint programming approaches. His current work focuses on the development of mathematical programming models and effective solution strategies for the design and planning of Supply Chains with uncertainty.
Area de Investigación:
Programación de restricciones en la industria de procesos. Diseño y gestión de cadenas de suministro con incertidumbre.
